A great TV for the price
Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S60 plasma HDTV enhances visuals and high-definition featuring 1080p resolution and a 600Hz Subfield Drive. It looks like a more expensive model, having a slim black bezel and understated stand.
If you love to stream movies, Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S60 offers great value and features for the price and it is easy to set up. The picture is very clear, crisp and clean, with lifelike colors from any viewing angle. There is no pixilation on dark screen shots. Like most of the plasma televisions, the screen is reflective in very bright rooms. In addition, the TV connects to your wi-fi and it is ready to go, directly accessing internet movies from several vendors like NetFlix.
If you are a sports enthusiast, this Plasma HDTV has useful Internet-enabled features, including Youtube and a few other Apps. The remote control is intuitive thanks to all the accessible functions on the remote and easy-to-use. This TV comes with three picture modes (standard, cinema, and vivid) but it needs a bit of an adjustment to watching sports. Just tweak the contrast and brightness settings in order to get the picture to be as bright as you are used to.
As for the connections, this model has two HDMI and one composite connection that allows for cable, blue-ray/ps3, and one other gaming system. Therefore it is doe not have enough connections for those people with all three systems, just from the TV connections standpoint.
The power consumption rates between $35-40 per year without using Eco-mode settings.
